Staffordshire Cricket Appoints 2 New Non-Executive Directors and Trustees to its Board
Staffordshire Cricket is delighted to announce the appointment of two additional non-executive directors and trustees to its existing board to support its activities.
Rachel Bayley and Amit Sharma both join the board, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in sport and business at local and national levels to further strengthen the county’s recreational cricket network.
About the New Appointments
1. Rachel Bayley: Since graduating from The University of Huddersfield, Rachel has worked in regional and national development and performance roles with Badminton England, British Swimming, Welsh Netball, and Swim England. She is currently the Paralympic Programme Manager for Archery GB, contributing to the Paris 2024 Paralympics and focusing on the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics. Rachel has also held voluntary roles with England Boxing, The University of Manchester, and Commonwealth Games England. She is a PRINCE 2 Practitioner and Mental Health First Aider.
2. Amit Sharma: With over 20 years of experience across sectors including technology, marketing, digital transformation, and more, Amit is a Board Member of the Wolverhampton City Investment Board. He is passionate about cricket, coaching at Wolverhampton Cricket Club, and has represented Staffordshire U19s, Midlands U19s, England U19s, and played at various levels including MCC and Minor Counties.
