Development Engineer
We currently have an excellentopportunityfor a Manufacturing Development Engineerto join a a growing engineering company, based in Lymington.
Introduction
The primary role of the Manufacturing Development Engineer will be to improve the manufacturing processes which will involve the design to concept level adaptations for machinery and automation which will reduce cost and improve he speed within the manufacturing areas.
There will be an element ofhands-on working withmanufacturing equipment, machinery and automation and prototypedevelopment.
Previousdevelopment or manufacturing engineering experience,composites experience is ideal however not essential. Also astrongcontinuous process development backgroundimproving processes or developing new manufacturing methods would be beneficialfor this role.

Manufacturing & Process Development
1. Identify, develop, and implement manufacturing process improvements to enhanceefficiency, quality, and cost.
2. Design and deliver new or improved manufacturing processes, from concept and prototyping through to commissioning in production.
3. Drive both step-change process innovations and incremental continuous-improvement activities.
