Overview
We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community. This position involves engaging with us as a Worker, via temporary and fixed term contracts as and when they arise. You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE. This is not a self-employed tutoring/self-employed teaching position.
Responsibilities
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* Join a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people, supporting pupils and students from KS1 to KS5 as appropriate for your skills, through flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
* Contribute to the mission to raise the standard of education for young people with SEND and SEMH, including those with MLD, SLD, and PMLD, and engage with us as a Worker on fixed-term contracts
Requirements
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed approach
* Subjects: Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (assistance available if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, including remote/online roles
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
