Salary: £50,000 - £90,000 + Package (Dependent on Experience)
Location: Acton or Dartford (with regular site visits across project locations)

About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well‑established specialist contractor delivering projects across the rail, transport, aviation, commercial and infrastructure sectors. This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of projects valued between £500,000 and £10 million.
The role suits someone with strong experience in both internal and external construction works and a solid understanding of NEC contracts. The successful candidate will be based from either the Acton or Dartford office, with regular site visits as projects require.

Key responsibilities
* Managing project costs and commercial performance
* Administering NEC contracts
* Preparing valuations, applications and final accounts
* Managing variations and compensation events
* Producing cost forecasts and financial reports
* Procurement and subcontractor management
* Supporting project delivery teams with commercial advice
* Managing project cash flow and cost control
* Attending site visits on a weekly or fortnightly basis as required
* Maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships
* Ensuring commercial compliance throughout project lifecycles
Projects typically include internal and external refurbishment, fit‑out and upgrade works such as blockwork, painting, doors, louvres, cladding, façades and wider architectural finishing packages.
