We are working in partnership with a progressive and forward-thinking law firm based in the North West of England, who are looking to appoint a Family Solicitor on a permanent basis as part of their continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Family Solicitor to join a modern, well-regarded practice that places a strong emphasis on client care, innovation, and work-life balance.
About the Role
The successful candidate will take on a varied private family law caseload, advising clients with empathy and clarity while delivering high-quality legal solutions. You will be supported by an experienced and collaborative team, with real scope for long-term career development.
Responsibilities
* Managing a caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial remedies and children matters
* Providing clear, practical and compassionate advice to clients
* Drafting legal documentation and correspondence
* Attending court hearings where required
* Contributing to business development and the ongoing success of the family department
Qualifications
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
* Ideally 5+ years’ PQE in Family Law (candidates outside this range will be considered)
Required Skills
* Strong technical knowledge of private family law
* Excellent client care and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
* A proactive and forward-thinking approach
