Level 3 Teaching Assistant 32.5 hours a week Permanent Contract Salary: £27,254 Pro Rata Actual salary: £21,312 The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated teaching assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team to support children’s learning in our KS1 and KS2 department. The successful candidate will work with individuals and groups of children, delivering high quality support to raise standards even further. They will: · be a creative, enthusiastic practitioner who will bring their own style and skills to support and enhance the excellent work developed throughout our school · be a caring and understanding individual who enjoys working with children and who is committed to supporting high standards and enjoyment of learning and who has high expectations of all pupils. · have a good understanding of attachment aware, trauma informed principles. · have experience of working with individual pupils, as well as small groups. · have knowledge of a range of techniques that can be applied to make learning exciting and engaging. · have experience of or desire to incorporate outdoor or adventurous learning. · have the ability to work in genuine team atmosphere to achieve the best for our children and the school community. · have a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life. The successful candidate will need to have: · NVQ level 3 or equivalent. · Ability to work in any year group. · GCSE in English and Mathematics. · outstanding oral, written and numeracy skills. · knowledge of synthetic phonics. · experience of working with children in a primary school. · have worked with pupils with additional needs.
