The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day.
Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, offering clear and accurate answers.
Your duties will include:
1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Managing technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
3. Ensuring compliance with legal and professional requirements and guidelines in Boots.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have.
You should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and prior experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser is preferred. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required; if not already completed, support will be provided to complete training within 6 months.
We also support your development towards NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services, enabling registration with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially progressing to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role.
