Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with an In-depth knowledge of EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel 3D ? If so, our client based in Basildon will be keen to hear about you. The company designs and manufactures production line equipment and the Electrical Design Engineer will work in a small team to produce electrical drawings and panel layouts.

Duties:
6. The Electrical Design Engineer will work alongside Automation Technicians to produce electrical wiring diagrams for electrical control systems.
7. Assist in the transfer of drawings from AutoCAD to EPLAN
8. Work with the rest of the Automation Department to agree on methods of working and drawing standards
9. Generate electrical drawings and panel Layouts
10. Provide supporting electrical documentation such as BoM's, Component Lists and Cable Schedules
11. Ensure all electrical drawings are updated promptly throughout the lifecycle of the project and shared with all relevant departments
12. Maintain a database to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project
Requirements:
13. Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with an In-depth knowledge of EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel 3D is a necessity
14. Apprentice trained and/or a formal Electrical Engineering Qualification is essential
15. A systematic approach to work with great attention to detail is required
16. An EPLAN Certified Engineer (ECE) qualification is preferable
17. Experience of working with automated production machinery or other similar capital equipment
18. Must be flexible with a willingness to lean to expand scope of knowledge
19. Experience gained working within a project environment in cross-functional project teams
