Principal Mechanical Engineers
Our client is currently looking for Principal Mechanical Engineers, the position can either be a contracting role or a full-time staff basis. The position will be based in the Preston area and will be encompassing hybrid working and offering a 4-day working week with 40 hours a week but your not restricted to 40 hours.
The position will be working within the Nuclear Sector and will require candidates to have experience of working within highly regulated industries. As the Principal Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical oversight and support in the execution of engineering activities, production of design basis documentation to support the specification and development of engineering design solutions.
You will be responsible for ensuring the technical file documentation adequately demonstrates conformity to applicable legislations, regulations and standards to support UKCA/CE Markings. The client will also be looking for engineers who have an experience of working with AutoCAD 3D, Inventor and SolidWorks.
The right candidate will be supporting the Engineering Manager in the measurement and reporting of engineering activities against cost, schedule, quality and safety. You will also be supporting the implementation of recovery strategies to minimise impacts to cost and schedule where variances are identified against the project baseline
As this work will be within the nuclear industry, candidates must be applicable for Security Clearance and must have the Right to work within the UK already established
