Job Description
The CPS Data team is seeking a Graduate Data Analyst. The team are responsible for the Data Lake and spatial data that are used by and often critical to various business functions and teams. The Graduate Data Analyst will focus on improving and maintaining the data outputs from the Data Lake and help provide support for building data reports. They will also provide input, where required, into tools and applications being developed by the team for end users across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to start their career in data within a complex, real-world environment, where your work will have a direct impact on one of the UK’s most important transport networks.
ACCOUNTABILITIES · Planning/design and implementation of data management processes · Development of Data standards and procedures · Optimisation, administering and development of the CPS Data Environments · Help with the data analytics, processing and automation methodologies · Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver customised Data Power BI reports · Reports to the Digital Lead or an associated assignment Manager · Provide progress reporting and updates at team meetings. · Stay up to date with latest Data technologies and trends to continuously enhance innovation
Qualifications
REQUIRED · Prior experience in the data analysis, techniques and tools · Good understanding of Data processes and methodologies · Skilled in producing standards, procedures and technical documentation
