PMM Back Office Analyst

£16.50- per hour - PAYE

This role sits within the PMM Back Office, who manage the day-to-day money and metal settlements of the business. The Back Office acts as the first line of control, checking trade entry to ensure our system is correct and accurate and agrees to the counterparties positions.
You will be expected to provide an efficient and professional customer facing service for all back office activities in order to respond to and resolve any customer queries; at all times protecting Johnson Matthey against risk and reputational damage.
Duties-
- Checking deal entries against customer orders and internal requirements, ensuring that our traders have correctly entered trades
- Ensuring errors are resolved promptly and efficiently
Other Activities could be:
- Assessing who and what to pay, and producing a payment report for all money settlements each day, ensuring that JM only pay for the correct items
- Checking money and metal due each day
- Account Management of the Loco London and Zurich Plate accounts, advising our traders of the balances, moving metal and ensuring we always have sufficient metal on account
- Possible coverage of the Shipping & Instructions Coordinator roles, as required when covering holiday /absence
