Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Support Remover on a 6 Month Rolling Contract, based in Worcester.
Role Summary
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for carefully removing support structures from 3D-printed parts while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of each component. They will inspect finished parts to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications, and will utilize hand tools and machinery to clean, smooth, and finish products as required. The position requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines, and promptly reporting any defects or production issues to the supervisor. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate closely with the production team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of all tasks.
Responsibilities
* Remove support structures from 3D-printed parts while maintaining component integrity.
* Inspect finished parts to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
* Use hand tools and machinery to clean, smooth, and finish products as required.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines.
* Report defects or production issues promptly to the supervisor.
* Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
Requirements
* Experience with 3D printing and support/feed removal is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
* Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Basic knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
