THE ROLE
The business is looking for a warehouse operative to join their team. You will be responsible for the picking, packing and despatch of their products. The role has good incentives such as free lunch based on team performance and regular work night outs. Some of your responsibilities will include:
9. You will pick items correctly from sales orders, using bin locations where applicable
10. You will check these orders and report low stock levels to the purchasing team
11. You will carry out stock takes as and when required
12. You will keep the warehouse clean, tidy and Safeguard Financial Services
13. You will report any health and safety issues to your supervisor
14. You will pack orders safely and securely
15. You will have a keen eye for detail using scales to correctly weigh product
16. You will carry out handballing duties moving around products in the warehouse
THE PERSON
It’s essential that you have experience in a similar type of role to carry out the duties set out above. Some other qualities you will have for the role include:
17. You will need to be physically fit to carry out the duties outlined above
18. You are an effective communicator and able to interact with customers
19. You do not need a fork lift licence for this role
20. You will be a team player and be able to interact with your peers
21. You will ensure tasks are carried out safely and efficiently
22. You will be open to development as opportunities will be given
