We’re looking for a seasoned Technical Lead to guide the design, integration, and delivery of a major Finance Systems transformation powered by Oracle Fusion. This isn’t a hands-on consulting role — it’s about shaping the technical strategy, leading teams, and ensuring the programme lands successfully across a complex organisation.
What you’ll be doing
*
Define and own the technical architecture and integration approach, ensuring alignment with business and delivery goals.
*
Oversee integration, data migration, and middleware strategy (OIC, AIS, APIs, or other enterprise platforms).
*
Provide technical governance across multiple workstreams, ensuring consistency in standards, documentation, and design decisions.
*
Lead and mentor a cross-functional technical team, balancing vendor contributions with internal capabilities.
*
Work closely with project leadership to plan delivery, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.
*
Act as the senior technical liaison with suppliers, third-party vendors, and business stakeholders, driving clarity and resolution when challenges arise.
*
Oversee technical quality assurance — from unit testing through SIT and into production readiness.
Who we’re looking for
*
Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect on large-scale ERP/Finance transformation programmes.
*
Strong track record in Oracle Fusion environments, with working knowledge of integration platforms (OIC, AIS, Azure, or APIs).
*
Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring structure where governance or process may be unclear.
*
Excellent stakeholder skills — able to influence system integrators, business leads, and technical teams alike.
*
Strong delivery focus, with the ability to balance technical depth and programme outcomes.
*
Experience overseeing documentation and governance frameworks (e.g., design authority, RAID logs, approvals for third-party tools).
Desirable
*
Educated to degree level or equivalent vocational qualification.
*
Experience in large-scale finance or ERP transformations, ideally with integration to multiple enterprise systems.
*
Background in both architecture and delivery leadership
