We are looking to strengthen our Engineering team with a Civil CAD Technician based at Hattersley with hybrid working available. Working on projects within the United Utilities framework amongst our Civil Engineering specialists.
You will report directly to the Civil Regional Discipline Lead and you will be responsible for the coordination, delivery and quality of drawing work undertaken for the projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. 3D Modelling to a level of detail suitable for construction,
2. 2D Drawing production to a level of detail suitable for construction including both layouts and general arrangements,
3. Quality control of models and drawings and updating drawing registers such as MIDP,
4. Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations,
5. Act as Digital Delivery Champion for MWH Treatment,
6. Co-ordination of drawing work undertaken by off-shore resources,
7. Development of younger members of the team and off-shore resource,
8. Coordinating design outputs across all technical disciplines,
9. Establish working relationships with design staff,
