Location: Remote working with 1 day in every 2 weeks at our Stoke-On-Trent office (5 mins from station).

Our site reliability engineers (SREs) empower users with high availability, stellar performance, and rich features to pursue their goals.
About the role
This is a hands-on role within the Software Engineering team. You will manage the SRE function daily, working closely with the Head of Engineering to provide expertise and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and enhance user experience.
You will review, lead, and drive our strategic approach to software and service maturity, security, performance, and scalability across cloud infrastructure. You will have significant autonomy to shape the future of the team, leveraging your extensive experience in:
* Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps/Infrastructure/Platform management
* Development and deployment of APIs using containerized environments such as Kubernetes
* Implementing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
* Collaborating with business stakeholders in an agile environment
* Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members
* AWS services, including IAM, S3, EKS, Networking
* CloudFormation/CDK
* Experience with serverless computing
