Applications are invited for the appointment of a dynamic and enthusiastic Locum Consultant in Paediatrics at Frimley Health Foundation NHS Trust (at the Wexham Park Hospital site).
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of 19 dedicated WTE Acute Paediatric Consultants.
Our three core values, and the behaviours that support them, guide everything we do and set out what we expect of our staff in the way they treat patients, visitors, service users and each other.
Main duties of the job
This post is part of a team of 19 Consultants.
This post is to cover long term sick leave for a colleague.
There will be a general OP clinic per week, in addition to PAU or Ward cover or the Neonatal Unit as needed. Instead of PAU work, you may need to conduct Child Protection Medicals as needed.
You will be working with a dynamic group of consultants who support each other; flexibility will be key, making this role suitable for an individual who is on the specialty register but may not have Consultant level experience. There will be some on-call and weekend work.
Each week, two consultants attend: one for Paediatrics, and one for Neonates.
