JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Create SOPs for Food Safety Management in accordance with ISO 22000
2. Liaise with support departments, mentor, train, and evaluate colleagues to implement SOPs
3. Lead internal and coordinate external audits to ensure high scores
4. Establish audit requirements for ISO 22000 compliance
5. Lead risk assessments, gap analyses, and risk management
6. Maintain Hygiene Operating Manual and related documentation
7. Manage Food Safety Management System (FSMS) programs
8. Promote a positive food safety, health, and hygiene culture
9. Identify hazards and risks using ISO 22000 and HACCP methodologies
10. Act as liaison and advisor with relevant departments and external parties
11. Support HACCP accreditation efforts
12. Manage stakeholder and risk management
13. Develop corrective actions and ensure compliance
14. Create training materials and record training sessions
15. Prepare documentation for ISO or HACCP audits
16. Report structural deficiencies related to food safety and hygiene
17. Manage pest control systems
18. Review and address food complaints
19. Lead preventive maintenance with facilities management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 10 years’ management experience in international hotel chains or airline catering at manager level
* Master’s degree in microbiology or related field
* Certifications or accreditation for UK
* Experience with ISO 22000 and HACCP standards
* Pre-opening or new project management experience
* Bachelor’s degree in food science or technology
* HACCP qualification and experience from implementation to execution
* Strong training, coaching, and online learning skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with analytical skills
* Ability to set directions, plan work, and communicate effectively
