The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
The Graphic Designer's function is to provide creative support to the Global Marketing Department for all divisions of Bridal Collective. Responsible to translate the brand image and creative direction into all global areas of sales, marketing, retail partner support, B2B, and B2C strategies.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
* Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
* Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
* 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
* Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
* Portfolio of work
* Web development and management with HTML and CSS experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience working with Expression Engine and Craft CMS preferable.
* Utilize AI technologies to improve efficiency and to stay ahead of new technologies
Essential Duties
Strategy & Planning
* Work closely with management to further develop brand consistency and grow brand recognition.
* Utilize innovative concepts to deliver forward thinking and memorable campaigns.
* Analyse competitor brands and identify opportunities to differentiate and diversify creative.
* Create effective presentations to outline creative direction and budget requirements.
* Conduct A/B testing to optimize visual components and deliver effective results on various platforms.
Digital
* Work with digital team to produce: B2B and B2C eblast newsletters, website and HUB updates, digital advertising, social media visual development, video editing, photo retouching & optimization, email signatures, infographics, file management & organization.
Print
* Develop concepts and produce a variety of collateral including but not limited to: flyers, mailers, brochures, sell sheets, invitations, catalogues, business cards, folders, banners, press kits, magazine ads, gown tags, product packaging, training documents, and in-store merchandising.
Marketing& Admin
* Supporting the Marketing Director and marketing team in day-to-day tasks and ad-hoc administration as and when directed. Provide general marketing support to Account Executives and internal departments.
* Assist in planning, implementation, and setup of annual trade events. Booth design, runway mock-ups, themes, décor, vendor communications, and installation solutions.
* Manage the creative ticketing system and calendar to complete all global requests efficiently and accurately.
* Upkeep the company brand profile and create consistency in company communication.
* Assist with digital resources and content management.
* Some international travel is required; site visits, offsite meetings, trade shows, trade & fashion event.
* Supporting the Marketing Director and marketing team in day-to-day global tasks and ad-hoc administration as and when directed.
