Systems & Network Administrator
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems & Network Administrator to join our growing IT team. This role requires a well-rounded professional with strong technical expertise across systems administration, networking, and cloud technologies, combined with a proactive leadership mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain Linux and Windows server environments
* Design, implement, and support secure network infrastructures
* Configure and manage firewalls and VPN solutions
* Support cloud-based platforms and hybrid environments
* Lead troubleshooting efforts and ensure system reliability and performance
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical strategy
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows administration whilst working as Systems & Network Administrator.
* Proven expertise in networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
* Advanced knowledge of firewall configuration and VPN technologies
* Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Solid understanding of security best practices
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to take ownership
Desirable:
* Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS)
* Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
