Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate landscaper/builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in landscape design, with practical experience in landscaping tasks. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors, maintaining and enhancing various green spaces while developing your skills in horticultural practices. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the health and aesthetic appeal of gardens through hands-on care and maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Planting, watering, pruning, and fertilising plants to promote healthy growth
* Operating hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and effectively
* Maintaining lawns, flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscape features
* Assisting with landscape design projects and practical requirements.
* Supporting the team in implementing landscape maintenance schedules and routines
* Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
Requirements
* Proven experience in landscaping
* Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools,
* Knowledge of landscape maintenance,
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A genuine interest in gardening and landscape aesthetics
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Valid (if applicable) or relevant horticultural qualifications are advantageous but not essential
