Due to continued growth, they're now seeking an ambitious Audit Senior or Audit Assistant Manager to join their Winchester team.

The Role
You'll take a lead role on a wide range of audits, managing fieldwork, supporting junior staff and contributing to high‑quality client outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading a variety of audit assignments across multiple sectors
2. Preparing audit files, taking ownership of planning and supporting fieldwork
3. Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work and providing on‑the‑job training
4. Ensuring audits are completed on time, within budget and to a high standard
5. Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP
6. Preparing corporation tax computations
7. Maintaining strong technical knowledge and keeping up to date with industry developments
8. Supporting with pricing discussions and new client proposals
9. Building positive relationships internally and with clients
10. Using a range of modern software including IRIS, Silverfin, CaseWare, Xero and Sage
About You
You'll be confident managing audit work from planning through to completion, and comfortable liaising with clients and colleagues at all will need to be:
11. ACA or ACCA qualified
12. Experienced within UK audit practice (minimum 3 years)
13. Knowledgeable in UK GAAP financial reporting
14. A strong communicator with excellent client‑facing skills
15. Able to produce high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment
16. Positive, professional, organised and adaptable
17. A supportive team player with a can‑do attitude
18. Strong with Excel and quick to pick up new systems
Experience from a mid‑tier or reputable medium‑sized practice is particularly welcomed.
