Job Details
* Location: Hampton Road Clinic, Southport, PR8 5DJ
* Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
* Salary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum (Band 5)

Role Overview
We seek an enthusiastic, motivated, and organized nurse to join our school health team. The role involves delivering the Healthy Child Programme, supporting public health initiatives, managing safeguarding caseloads, and working collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency teams.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver health promotion and preventative care to school-aged children.
2. Manage safeguarding cases and ensure child protection protocols are followed.
3. Work in partnership with schools, parents, and other agencies.
4. Participate in clinical assessments, care planning, and evaluations.
5. Support immunization programs and respond to outbreaks.
6. Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
* Current NMC registration as a first-level nurse.
* Experience in public health, school nursing, or community nursing preferred.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, immunization programs, and public health priorities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
