Working pattern: Full-time (37.5 hours per week). Flexible working arrangements including part-time/job-share may be considered.
Responsibilities
Work across multiple rotations including critical care, paediatrics, surgery, and various medical specialties. Daily duties include ward-based tasks, chart reviews, clinical interventions, optimising medication regimens, patient education on medications, screening discharge prescriptions, and supporting junior or trainee pharmacists. Lead audits and drive quality improvement initiatives. During 6-month rotations, provide a comprehensive pharmaceutical service and develop managerial skills toward agreed objectives. This position may involve on-call duties.
Qualifications
Essential
* General Pharmaceutical Council registration
* Certificate in clinical pharmacy (12 months complete and working towards 18 months)
Desirable
* MSc in Clinical Pharmacy Practice or equivalent; management training
* Full Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent

Experience

* Post-registration UK hospital experience (minimum 18 months)
* Experience of providing services to a broad variety of patients
* Demonstrate evidence of good clinical knowledge and skills
