Year 1 1:1 SEND Learning Assistant (TA2)
Required: As soon as possible (fixed term)
Grade 5 SCP 6-7 (£13.05-£13.26)
27.5 hours per week, term time only
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking learning assistant to work with and support pupils who are on the SEND register across different year groups.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Is suitably qualified through qualifications or experience
2. Has specialised experience working 1:1 with children who have additional needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
3. Has recent experience working in the classroom with small groups and/or individual children
4. Believes in giving every child the opportunity to be the best they can be
5. Enjoys being part of a hardworking and committed team
6. Is highly motivated and able to act on their own initiative
7. Is patient, good humoured and flexible
8. Has high aspirations for themselves and the children they work with
9. Has the potential to develop
