Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)
CBRE is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness. The role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and small installation works on building plant, equipment, and systems, ensuring compliance with agreed service levels and safety standards.
1. Perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to meet and exceed expectations and service level agreements.
2. Carry out reactive repairs and coordinate with relevant subcontractors as needed.
3. Execute all PPM tasks according to provided instructions within Concept.
4. Report all PPM defects through the client defect process and liaise with the supervisor on defect requirements.
5. Update weekly equipment reports with any status changes.
6. Coordinate with subcontractors for repairs and quotations, monitor their performance, and ensure quality and cleanliness of work areas.
7. Sign off completed tasks via PDA in line with client policies and procedures promptly.
8. Maintain a professional image of CBRE, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
9. Establish and maintain good relationships with client representatives and personnel.
10. Ensure a safe and healthy working environment, complying with all company, client site policies, and procedures.
11. Maintain accurate site logs and related documentation.
12. Participate in call-out rota if applicable.
13. Understand and maintain all site systems, working collaboratively with other trade engineers to resolve electrical issues within SLA.
14. Maintain professional and technical skills through continuous development.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Recognized Electrical Qualification (C&G 18th Edition, Test and Inspection Knowledge).
* Good knowledge of building electrical systems and PPM regimes.
* Experience with structured PPM delivery and managing business-critical electrical equipment.
* Experience working within health and safety regulations and managing electrical paperwork.
