Description
Reporting to the UK based controller and International FC, the Senior Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations across the European region. You will lead a team of five and play a critical role in group reporting, statutory compliance, cashflow and treasury management, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities Include
1. Preparation and consolidation of regional financial reports and presentation to group stakeholders.
2. Oversight of cashflow, treasury, and reporting packages for holding companies.
3. Management of audits, tax compliance, and statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
4. Enhancement of internal controls and mitigation of financial risks.
5. Business partnering with regional leaders, HQ finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
6. Leadership of statutory reporting and sub-consolidation for overseas auditors and banking partners.
7. Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
8. Playing a key role in new finance systems implementations and ERP improvements.
9. Developing and coaching the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Profile
A ideal candidate for this Senior Finance Manager should be:
1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
2. Strong technical expertise in group reporting (IFRS & local GAAP), statutory accounts, and audit.
3. Proven experience working in an international, multi-entity finance environment.
4. Exposure to manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, or retail sectors is advantageous.
5. Experienced in financial systems and strong Excel capabilities.
6. Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at senior levels.
7. Adaptable, proactive, and organised with a strong business acumen.
8. Skilled at coaching, developing teams, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Job Offer
Base salary of up to circa £80,000
