About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, senior HR leader to join Skipton Business Finance as our Head of HR. You will be a strategic partner to the Executive Committee, leading the People Function, and aligning our people strategy with our corporate goals. Your focus will be on building a positive culture, enabling change, and delivering impact through effective people management.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with the Executive Committee to embed and deliver the people strategy.
2. Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to influence and advise on cultural and HR matters.
3. Design and implement commercially focused HR solutions aligned with best practices.
4. Utilize data insights to inform decisions in resourcing, reward, performance, and talent management.
5. Lead talent attraction, development, engagement, and retention strategies.
6. Develop and promote organizational culture and inclusive behaviors throughout the company.


Requirements

* Extensive HR experience across multiple disciplines, especially Reward.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of industry challenges.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Proven leadership and coaching abilities, especially at senior levels.
* Experience in matrix organizations and transformational change.
* Relevant degree or HR qualification; additional certifications are a plus.
