EMED Group are looking for a Patient Transport Liaison Officer to join our team in Ipswich, Suffolk.
The PTLO position is key to help bridge the gap between hospitals and our operations team daily. The PTLO will be dual trained to support with ambulance care assistant duties so candidates must be able to drive and support with manual handling such as lifting patients.
Contract Type: Permanent, full time – 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Key responsibilities
2. Being the point of contact for escalation for your designated trust if they fall into a bed crisis, patient’s queries, risk assessments among other things
• Assist crews with complex manual handling tasks
• Be the point of contact between bed managers and EMED managers
• Attend meetings on an ad-hoc basis
• To maintain positive relationships with hospital wards, outpatient units, discharge lounges and bed managers
• To assist operational managers with issues that arise throughout the day
• General office duties and other assistance should the need arise
• Dealing with patient’s enquiries and questions as and when they arise
• Familiarisation with EMED policies, processes and standard operating procedures
