Overview
We are seeking a motivated Production Operative plays a key role within the manufacturing process, contributing directly to the production of safe, high-quality food products. The role is responsible for supporting efficient day-to-day production activities by processing raw materials and finished products in line with production plans, quality standards, and food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient production flow
* Manufacture products in accordance with the production plan, following specific batch requirements and production instructions
* Inspect raw materials and finished products during the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
* Accurately complete all required production documentation, including batch records, quality checks, and health & safety documentation
* Monitor and check critical control points, reporting any issues immediately
* Ensure production areas are kept clean, organised, and tidy in line with standard procedures
* Follow operating instructions for production areas and all machinery and equipment
* Ensure correct labelling and product identification is maintained at all times
* Maintain high standards of personal hygiene in line with food safety and health & safety requirements
* Carry out regular cleaning duties and complete required cleaning records
* Report all quality, health & safety, or maintenance-related incidents to support continuous improvement
* Participate in ongoing training and process improvement initiatives
* Provide support during external audits, such as food safety and certification audits

Working Hours : Am and PM shift
Hourly Rate : £13.11 per hour
