Overview
Highland Health and Social Care Services provides assistance to people from all walks of life. This role is part of the Sutherland Health and Social Care Team and involves working with patients in their own homes to deliver holistic care. The primary responsibility is to support service users in maximizing and maintaining independence.
Responsibilities
* Provide high standards of patient care in support of the multidisciplinary team.
* Use own initiative and flexible approach to meet the needs of service users.
* Access own vehicle for work purposes; a driving licence is essential.
Qualifications & Training
* Experience not required; full training will be provided.
* Opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care.
Shifts
* 5pm – 10pm on a 4 on 4 off rota in Helmsdale area
* 7am – 2pm on a 4 on 4 off rota in Ardgay and Bonar Bridge areas

* Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
