We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our team in Coalville.
S R Care Ltd provide support to adults with Mental Health conditions, Learning Disabilities, Autism and other complex needs. We focus on support to enable people to reach their goals of achieving and sustaining their level of independence, supporting them to develop further.
Our Coalville service support a maximum of 14 adults with mental health conditions, Autism and Learning Disabilities.
Although the shifts are not on fixed days, so flexibility is desirable over a 24hrs / 7 days a week period. The shifts are from 0700 to 2000/2200 and sleep ins which are paid at a set rate, working over 3 days per week and alternative weekends. Your role as a Support Worker will include:
* Providing personal care and supporting independence in this area of a persons life in a person centred approach
* Providing meals, drinks and snacks, supporting residents with meal preparation for day
* Encouraging regular activities with the residents both inhouse and in the wider community
* Monitoring of our residents using our online digital systems
* Undertaking cleaning of the service as per schedules, ensuring this is completed to a high standard
* Amongst other resident related tasks
The most important qualities needed in a Support Worker are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Being Kind and friendly is a must as well as a good sense of humour.
