Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school based in Congleton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people in their education and development. About the role: Start- date: 8 th September Part-time opportunity Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for permanent contract with the school The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and SENCO to support students both in the classroom and in small group/1-1 settings. The role will involve helping to create a positive, stimulating, and supportive environment for all students, including those with additional learning needs. You will: Provide in-class support across a range of subjects and year groups (Year 7-11) Assist with differentiated learning activities within the schools SEN department Support SEN/EAL students both socially and emotionally Manage student behaviour in line with school policies Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment What we’re looking for: Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential Experience working with young people (in a school or similar setting) Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team If you’re interested in this role, please apply with your CV and a consultant will be in contact within 2 working days.
