The Clinical Engineering Department is primarily concerned with providing repair, calibration, commissioning, decommissioning and maintenance to a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment in BHR University Hospitals NHS Trust, to ensure medical equipment operates effectively and safely with a minimum of downtime.
This post is to maintain and develop the existing external medical equipment maintenance contracts, participating in developing relationships with suppliers and internal staff to provide best value for money. It will also provide support to the Clinical Engineering department for administrative duties.
