Inpatient Occupational Therapist - Loughborough

We're looking for band 5 Occupational Therapists who are eager to build on their knowledge and skills at Loughborough Community Hospital across our 2 medical step down/rehabilitation wards.
What's the Deal?
Support galore: You will be working as part of an established and supportive MDT. If applicable you will be enrolled on a preceptorship programme alongside regular supervision and appraisal. We also offer group supervision which joins together local inpatient and community Occupational Therapists. As well as opportunities to attend in service training.
Be part of something bigger: You'll be a key player in our integrated and specialist community services, working alongside amazing teams and health and social care professionals.
Tech Savvy (Training Provided): You'll need to get comfortable with electronic patient records but don't worry, we'll give you all the training and support you need to become a digital whizz!
Main duties of the job
Your Mission: You'll be providing an occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation service to the patients on our wards at Loughborough Hospital.
Your Superpowers: You will be keen to learn, develop and engage in a wide range of Occupational Therapy interventions. You will possess a professional approach with good communication and problem-solving skills and have a positive approach to MDT working. You'll be an autonomous practitioner, managing your own caseload, assessing and treating patients, ensuring safe and effective discharges and adhering to professional standards and best practices.
Team working: You'll be working closely with the MDT regarding clinical work as well as outside agencies such as Adult Social Care and Community Therapy.
Experience: You must be a HCPC registered OT. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who has just graduated or someone ready for a static post where you can develop and grow your skills ready for working towards band 6 roles.
