The McDermott group is seeking an HSEQ Advisor based in Perth, Scotland. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards in health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.

* HSEQ Officer
* Holidays: 30 days, with 1 additional day per year of service, up to a maximum of 5 days. Holiday buy-back scheme available for an additional 5 days.

Responsibilities
* Manage and liaise with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations.
* Create, monitor, and maintain procedures within the Quality Management System.
* Provide guidance and training to employees on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance.
* Plan and conduct audits, report findings, and implement best practices.
* Ensure company processes meet their intended outputs and promote customer focus.
* Maintain the integrity of the HSEQ management system and conduct risk assessments.
* Perform site inspections and ensure compliance with legislation.
* Develop health and safety strategies and policies.
* Lead training sessions on QHSE topics and risks.
* Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and accidents, and produce relevant reports.
* Stay updated with legislation and industry developments.
* Manage equipment safety, hazardous substances, and emergency procedures.
* Advise on specialist areas such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, and occupational diseases.
* Qualifications: NEBOSH General or equivalent.
* Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE.
* Auditor training/experience is preferred.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
* Must have full rights to work in the UK (IDLR or Settled Status).
