Role: Client Manager
Location: York
Salary: Up to £52,000 (Dependant on Experience)
Hours: Full time
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and highly regarded accountancy practice in York with a strong reputation for delivering high quality support to SME clients across the region.
The firm offers a supportive and collaborative working environment with a strong team culture. This role would suit an experienced Senior Accountant ready to step up, or an existing Client Manager looking for a new environment where they can take ownership of a client portfolio and play a key role within the wider team.

Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as their main point of contact
* Reviewing statutory accounts prepared by junior staff
* Reviewing corporation tax and personal tax returns
* Liaising with clients to provide clear, practical advice
* Managing workflow to ensure deadlines are met
* Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
* Building strong, long term client relationships
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified (QBE candidates will also be considered)
* Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
* Strong experience reviewing accounts and tax work
* Confident managing client relationships
* Experience supporting or reviewing the work of junior staff
* Organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
