In House Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts – 3pqe – London Our client is a global player within the rapidly evolving sustainable transport space. Their success has led to the need for a talented Legal Counsel to join their dynamic in-house Legal team. This is a fantastic and transformative time to join their global Legal, Contracts and Compliance function which is opening new doors for growth, harmonisation, and innovation. This is a pivotal role supporting the UK business in providing legal guidance across a wide range of commercial activities. You may be responsible for: • Supporting bidding, negotiation, drafting, and dispute resolution in respect of major projects; • Working with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate legal, commercial, and reputational risks; • Supporting the delivery of training, templates, tools and practices across the UK. • Providing pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to stakeholders on matters such as compliance, regulation, construction, IP, DP, M&A, procurement, real estate, litigation and employment. Person Specification You will be a UK qualified lawyer with a Law degree or equivalent and 3 years experience from a highly ranked law firm or in-house legal team. Your sound risk management, commercial acumen and your familiarity with UK corporate governance and documentation will show your collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills. You will be a strong team player, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships and to demonstrate effective persuasion and influencing skills.
