Pay: £15.00-£15.50 per hour Job Description: This position is being advertised by Swift Temps Ltd, trading as an Employment Agency Overview We are seeking skilled and reliable Class 2 Drivers to join our team, completing local and national general haulage deliveries and collections on a Monday to Friday basis (with occasional weekend work available). Onsite parking. Referral program. Responsibilities: Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit. Collection and delivery of goods to the required location and obtaining proof of delivery. Maintain accurate records of deliveries/collections, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Experience: Class 2 Licence (Cat C) Current CPC and digital driving card Clean Driving Licence and 2 years driving experience preferred Familiarity with roadways and routes in Shropshire and surrounding areas. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
