Overview
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Peripatetic LAMDA Teacher to deliver high-quality speech and drama tuition to pupils across Key Stages 3–5. The successful candidate will prepare students for LAMDA examinations in Acting, Verse and Prose, Public Speaking, or similar disciplines, fostering confidence, communication, and performance skills. The role may also include contributing to the school’s extra-curricular programme through drama clubs, rehearsals, and support for school productions.
About Rochester Independent College
Rochester Independent College (RIC) was founded as a sixth form college in 1984 and offers a fresh alternative to traditional independent education. There is no uniform and students and teachers are on first name terms. Today, Rochester Independent College has 425 students from the age of 11 and offers places for boarders from the age of 13. Classes are small with an average of 8 students in each group. The College specialises in intensive one year A level and GCSE courses and has a track record of excellent results on retake A level and GCSE courses for students aiming at competitive university courses including Medicine, Law, Veterinary Science and Dentistry.
