This post is for a booking clerk at the South West Wales Cancer Centre, Singleton.
The post holder will provide a professional booking service for new and follow up appointments and administrative support in the effective management of appointments bookings, including clinic maintenance.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply

Experience
* Experience using computer software packages such as Microsoft Office
* Experience of effective team work
* Experience of working in a busy office environment

* Excellent Communication Skills confident - able to communicate to staff of all levels
* Excellent Telephone Manner
* Proven organisational and administrative skills, ability to prioritize work loads

* Is tactful and shows awareness of sensitive issues
* Welsh Language Skills are desirable levels 1 to 5 in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in Welsh

* Satisfactory Standard/Enhanced DBS clearance including an Adults and Childrens Barred List check
Information and Qualifications
* Good standard of general education, minimum 5 GCSE's at C or above
* Good knowledge of administration/clerical procedures
* NVQ in Administration or equivalent
* ECDL
