Are you an experienced Electronics Design Engineer with a passion for delivering innovative solutions? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team, providing engineering design solutions and technical support across a diverse product range.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the full product lifecycle—designing new systems to meet internal and client specifications, supporting existing equipment through upgrades, and addressing technical queries. Your responsibilities will include generating part numbers and bills of materials, sourcing components, creating detailed engineering documentation, and reviewing manufacturing drawings. You’ll work closely with teams such as sales, supply chain, and production to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
You may also have the opportunity to lead a small team, allocating tasks, supporting development, and mentoring junior engineers to build a high-performing team.
We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, can adapt to changing requirements, and has excellent communication and organisational skills. A strong eye for detail, a methodical approach, and a commitment to delivering quality solutions are key.
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent industry experience
* Proven experience in PCB design (Altium Designer), embedded systems (STM32), and embedded software
* Knowledge of EMC, Functional Safety, and CE compliance
* Familiarity with electronics standards (IPC) and product lifecycle management systems
* Experience working to marine and defence standards (e.g., Lloyd’s Register, DNV)
* Eligible for UK security clearance and right to work in the UK
