Business Process Architect – O2C

We are initiating a significant Transformation Project to implement S/4HANA, creating several positions to support this enterprise initiative.
Role Purpose:
This role is a key contributor to Business Transformation for Lonza CDMO and Product business, specifically focusing on Invoice to Cash Processes under Project Nexus. Reporting to the Stream Lead, the Business Process Architect, Invoice to Cash will drive and support the functional and technical design, implementation, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA FSCM and Cash Management modules for invoice to cash processes.
Key Accountabilities:
* Map future Invoice to Cash processes within the new S/4HANA FSCM and Cash Management systems, transitioning from current satellite systems (High Radius and Serrala).
* Create and maintain documentation of future Invoice to Cash processes and technical solutions.
* Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in Invoice to Cash processes relevant to Lonza CDMO and Product business models.
* Engage with partners to understand and document requirements.
* Implement best practices in SAP S/4HANA Credit Management, Collections Management, Dispute Management, Cash & Liquidity Management to improve efficiency, reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and enhance working capital.
* Participate in system configuration reviews, testing (SIT/UAT), and defect resolution.
* Develop training materials and support change management activities.
* Design Master Data for Business Partner, Credit Control Areas, Credit Segment, etc.
Key Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with SAP (preferably S/4HANA), especially in Invoice-to-Cash or related modules (FI-AR, FSCM, SD, Treasury).
* Strong understanding of Invoice-to-Cash processes, including billing, dunning, dispute management, credit management, and cash application.
* Experience implementing SAP S/4HANA FSCM and Cash Applications.
* Expertise in finance and accounting principles across the receivables lifecycle—Credit Management, Collections Management, Dispute Management, Cash Management.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead process improvement initiatives.
* Experience with change management.
