Children's Registered Manager - Nottingham - Up to £55K
Hampton's Resourcing are looking for exceptional candidates for an exciting opportunity to join a highly established, therapeutic Children's residential services provider based in Nottingham. The company are undergoing a new project to source a Registered Manager to oversee one of two new provisions that have recently been registered whilst supporting the services provided for Children with emotional behavioural disorders with a therapeutic approach - they are also considering Dual Registration for those candidate looking for career progression.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and direction, supervising the Deputy Manager for optimal performance.
* Oversee effective recording, collation, analysis, and reporting of data within regulatory guidelines.
* Ensure homes and staff adhere to quality standards and regulations, meeting assigned targets and outcomes.
* Foster staff engagement with children, supporting holistic development in health, education, employment, family time, and relationships.
* Promote Trauma-Informed, effective, safe, and holistic practices through training and reflection.
* Manage the on-call manager network, providing necessary tools for out-of-hours support.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Essential: Previous registration with Ofsted within the last 2 years.
* A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
* A recognized Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent (or working towards this).
* Essential Qualification requirements & Experience
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England), or a qualification considered to be equivalent to the Level 5 Diploma.
* Excellent knowledge & understanding of The Children's home regulations, National Minimum Standards, Every Child Matters, & the Children Act
* Within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
* Worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
Salary: Up to £55K
