Are you a Business Development Manager or similar from a Mechanical Engineering background looking for an autonomous, varied role within a well-established and growing precision engineering company?
This company has been providing high-quality precision engineering solutions to industries including aerospace, nuclear, and energy since the 1970s with a strong reputation and multi-million-pound turnover, they continue to expand their client base and market presence.
In this role, you will combine business development with a technical sales approach, working closely with clients to understand their engineering requirements and deliver tailored solutions. You will spend 1-2 days per week in the office developing strategies to grow existing relationships and win new business. You will have full autonomy in how you generate sales whether through client visits, trade shows, cold outreach, or collaboration with the marketing team. The remainder of your week will be spent executing your strategy and reporting on KPIs to the Head of Business and Sales.
