Internal Opportunity: Clinical Educator (9–12 Months Secondment, 22.5 hrs per Week)
We are pleased to invite expressions of interest for an exciting 9–12 month secondment opportunity to step into the role of Clinical Educator, starting in early May.
This secondment will be for 22.5 hours per week, allowing the successful candidate to remain in their current clinical role for the remainder of the week, ensuring continuity within their department while gaining valuable experience in clinical education.
About the Role
The Clinical Educator will play a key role in supporting staff development, strengthening clinical skills, and promoting a positive learning culture across the organisation. You will work closely with Clinical Governance and HoDs to develop training pathways, deliver training, support new starters, and help maintain compliance with mandatory and statutory training requirements.
What you'll be doing
The Clinical Educator role is part of the hospital governance team working closely with all clinical departments and the multidisciplinary team.
What you will be doing - key tasks:
* To lead the development and delivery of training, education, professional development across the hospital.
* To support the nursing team and allied health professionals to meet the requirements of their role, regulatory and professional bodies.
* To support and develop the nursing teams and allied health professionals to consistently deliver the highest possible standards of care and patient experience.
* Promote a lifelong learning culture providing high level professional leadership for the delivery of workforce development

You do not need a formal qualification in clinical education. What matters most is your passion for developing others and your commitment to high‑quality learning.
