Job Summary
We are a friendly and supportive GP Practice committed to providing high-quality care to our patients. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our busy reception and administration team.
Duties
* Welcoming patients and handling enquiries in person, by phone, and online.
* Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette
* Booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments.
* Processing Prescription requests and task results.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
* Supporting clinicians and the wider team with administrative tasks.
* Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience working in a GP Practice is ESSENTIAL.
* Proficient computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy on SystmOne
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a busy environment
* Needs to be friendly and approachable.
