Job Description:
Parkinson Lee Executive Search is the retained partner to a private equity-backed service sector organisation based in West Yorkshire, seeking a Chief Financial Officer.
Our client is a dynamic, high-growth business. Following significant investment, they are looking for a CFO to join their executive leadership team and lead the next phase of growth and development.
The CFO will be a hands-on, strategically aligned partner to the CEO, Board, and investors. They will oversee finance, procurement, business intelligence, and IT, providing financial leadership and driving operational excellence and innovation across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead financial planning and reporting to improve performance and support strategic goals.
* Manage finance functions including budgeting, audits, compliance, and reporting.
* Oversee cash flow, working capital, and treasury to ensure financial stability.
* Handle capital structure, debt, and stakeholder communication transparently.
* Drive business improvements through digital initiatives, automation, and data tools.
* Plan capital expenditure and manage assets for operational efficiency.
* Supervise procurement and IT, ensuring scalable, growth-oriented systems.
* Collaborate with commercial teams on pricing, bids, and contract negotiations.
We seek experienced finance professionals who have previously held hands-on CFO roles in companies with turnovers between £100m and £300m, demonstrating strategic leadership combined with operational and technical finance expertise at Board level.
The CFO will be a key member of the leadership team, driving profitability and growth during a critical investment phase. This is a unique opportunity to influence the financial and strategic direction of a purpose-driven, multi-site organisation.
