Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join an expanding ground investigation and design consultancy based in Doncaster. The role provides opportunity to take the next step in your career, working for a specialist team with over 25 years in the industry, on a variety of projects.
Responsibilities
* Designing geotechnical structures including retaining walls, slopes, foundations and infrastructure.
* Carrying out desktop studies and overseeing ground investigations.
* Groundwater and gas monitoring, borehole logging and soil sampling.
* Factual and interpretive report writing.
* Mentoring junior members of the team.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Geotechnical Engineer with a strong understanding of soil mechanics and ground investigation.
* Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences (geotechnical focus) or similar; MSc preferred.
* Full and clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
* Living in or near Doncaster and having full right to work in the UK.

Location: Doncaster
Salary: GBP28,000 : GBP33,000
