Role: Electrical Project Manager

We are working with a leading MEP design and build contractor delivering complex building services projects across the UK and Europe. With over four decades of experience, they provide full lifecycle delivery, from design and engineering through to installation, commissioning and handover, across sectors including healthcare, data centres, pharmaceutical, commercial and industrial environments.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of healthcare work, they are now seeking an Electrical Project Manager with proven experience delivering low voltage electrical systems within hospital or healthcare environments.
This is a key site-based leadership role managing electrical delivery on major healthcare schemes.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the electrical package from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover
* Managing the installation and coordination of low voltage systems within hospital environments
* Overseeing technical submittals, RFIs and design coordination with consultants and internal design teams
* Managing subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners to ensure delivery in line with programme and specification
* Coordinating procurement of plant, equipment and materials
* Monitoring labour allocation, productivity and programme milestones
* Maintaining weekly progress reporting, managing variations and supporting commercial performance
* Ensuring commissioning plans are implemented and systems are delivered to healthcare compliance standards
* Leading snagging, quality assurance and project close-out
* Acting as the key electrical contact for the client, consultants and main contractor
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within an MEP contractor environment
* Strong experience delivering low voltage electrical systems on hospital or healthcare projects
* Experience working within a design and build delivery model
* Understanding of healthcare-specific systems such as small power and lighting, fire alarm and life safety systems, nurse call, security and access control, ICT and structured cabling infrastructure, Building Management Systems integration
* Strong knowledge of commissioning, compliance and project handover processes
* Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams
* Relevant electrical or construction qualification preferred
